Ok, does anybody here ever watch Two and a Half Men?

[livejournal.com profile] ugali was flipping through the channels, and happened to land on it for a scene that had us in stitches. Charlie Sheen, John Cryer, Ryan Styles, JD Walsh, and Michael Clarke Duncan(!?!) (i.e., Manute from Sin City and the Kingpin in Daredevil) as a bunch of middle aged men shooting the shit while two of their kids are out on a date.

It was, quite possibly, one of the funniest Sitcom moments of all time. And I am usually not a fan of the Sitcom. And DAYUM Michael Clarke Duncan really can do commedy!

I love that show! It can be extremely formulaic at times, but damn is it entertaining. The constant procession of Charlie's wimmenz doesn't hurt, either. :)

What snippets I've seen have been very funny. Never actually watched the show, though it may be one of the few worthwhile sitcoms out there...

I have watched the show. While the early obnoxious kid stuff got to me (as I have one of my own) the later stuff is not bad.

I also saw the Michael Clarke Duncan scenes. Hilarious! That man is funny when not being scary!

One of the writers (Mark Roberts) is a native of my home area. He is in fact the playwright in residence at the Community Theatre that my mother is on the board for. She was in a movie he did.

Chelsea, Charlie's current girlfriend (The character not the actress) has claimed to be from Champaign, IL. A shout out for the hometown!

So, yes...I watch :)

My Mom has gotten to talk to Holland Taylor on the phone and such, due to this connection. She has some pretty hot hook ups for midweestern mom!

Yes, we watch. Did you catch them forming an acapella group while trashed at the end? Freaking HYSTERICAL.
